The
Rubicon General Ledger application has been designed to create
a flexible and yet comprehensive General Ledger, insuring maximum
efficiency in accordance with established accounting principles.
In addition, it provides Financial Reporting as a basis for
analysis and sound management control.
The application
accommodates single or multiple companies and provides the
ability to construct a Chart of Accounts tailored to the needs
of each of them. It allows for the processing of a virtually
limitless number of accounts, with practicality and individual
requirements being the determining factors. Additionally,
account / sub-account and departmental structures may be created.
If other
Rubicon applications are in operation for this company, the
General Ledger Interface program will automatically create
journal entries to record results from those applications.
Journal entries may be created for activities not covered
by other applications and for adjustments and other additional
items.
