Routing  
  The Routing application organizes information defining how an item is actually manufactured. This information can include the sequence of operations on the plant floor, the specific machines and tools used, and detailed instructions on the processes or operations to be performed. Some Routing features are:

  • Routing elements
    • Work centers
    • Time standards
    • Job pay standards
    • Machine groups
    • Tool groups
    • Instructions on the operations performed
  • Alternate routings
  • "Same as except" copying and modification
  • Routings shared by multiple items
  • Where-used reporting
  • Component issue distribution
  • Machine and tool maintenance reports
    • Based on pieces produced
    • Based on hours of production
